Position Purpose:
oResponsible for updating and developing training materials, training content, and the Training Plan.
oDelivers training to new hire and conducts refresher training for individuals and operations units.
oEvaluates and reports on progress of trainees.
oWorks with Training Manager and other management staff to identify future training needs.
oReports directly to the Training Manager.

Essential Job Duties
o Assist Training Manager with the development, maintenance and implementation of a detailed Training Plan for meeting ongoing training needs of new hires and existing staff.
oUpdate training materials and training content. Keep abreast of program and policy changes and ensure training is updated accordingly. Ensure updates or newly developed materials are completed in time for training sessions.
oAchieve level of competency in using learning management software (LMS), particularly for content updates and testing. Use LMS for content authoring tools and delivering online training programs, tests, quizzes and surveys.
oConduct group and individual training classes and coordinate online training activity including new hire training and ongoing training for existing staff regarding contract requirements, quality performance measures, existing and changes in program policies and procedures, corporate policies and procedures, and/or new system implementations.
oWork with Quality Assurance staff and management to identify refresher training needs.
oAssist Training Manager to prepare and submit Training Activity Reports on a regular basis to our client.
oEvaluate and report progress of trainees. Develop, update, and score assessment tests. Review scores of trainees to identify areas for improvement and/or additional one-to-one training with new hires and existing staff.
oWork with Training Manager and other management staff to identify future training needs.
oOther duties as assigned

Minimum Experience Requirements
oExperience with design, development, and delivery of training programs including training needs analysis, training evaluation, and instructor evaluation.
oOutstanding oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational abilities.
oTraining certification is a positive.
oAdvanced knowledge of Managed Health Care, Medicaid, NJ FamilyCare programs, and/or insurance industry a plus. Teaching experience a plus as well.
oA minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory or senior-level position.
oAbility to take initiative, to meet deadlines, and work in a team environment essential.
oAbility to use MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook
oBachelor’s Degree preferred

Overtime, evening and some weekend hours
Travel as needed.
