Trenton Marriott at Lafayette Yard, located at 1 West Lafayette Street, Trenton, NJ seeks a Lead Host/Hostess to join their restaurant staff. If providing guests with an experience that exceeds their expectations is your thing, then we need you now!
The Lead Host/Hostess will be responsible for:
* Supervising staff while assisting with greeting guests and escorting them to tables* Takes reservations and coordinates seatings
* Maintains table charts, assists in the overall cleanliness/appearance of entrance and lounge areas
* Provides direction to dining room attendants
* Assists in the marketing and promotional strategies developed for the restaurant
* Must have a comprehensive knowledge of both food and wine menus with a strong background and knowledge of wine
* Ensure that guest checks are handled accurately, efficiently and in compliance with company policies and procedures
* Resolves guest issues
* Position requires excellent guest service skills and must be available to work a flexible schedule
